Activated Carbon is a highly porous carbon material that adsorbs oil vapor, organic compounds, odors and hydrocarbon-based contaminants in compressed air and gas lines. Coconut shell-based and coal-based types are available. Used as filling material in Activated Carbon Towers. The surface area of 1 gram of activated carbon can reach up to 1000 square meters.
